Linda LaVon Hopson age 76 of Russellville, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at her home. She was born April 22, 1948 in Muscatine, Iowa to the late Robert Gritton and Deloris "Dee" Miller Gritton. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary Rogers-Rye Post 2283, a support member of the VFW Riders Group Unit 13. Linda loved country and western dancing and was a member of the dance group, Dancing Wanna Bees. She also loved playing cards and bingo. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Gritton.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Paul E. Hopson of Russellville; three sons, John Hopson (Kim) of Dover, Randall Hopson of Russellville, Robert Hopson (Angela) of Russellville; one sister, Cathy Chasteen (Gene) of Texarkana, Arkansas; one brother, Eric Gritton (Angela) of Russellville; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
