Linda Ann Johnson Thompson, age 75 of Dardanelle, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Fort Smith. She was born December 26, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Varnell Johnson and Jophelia Gay Johnson. She was a member of the Bethel AME Church and she loved Genealogy, Photography, music and Martial Arts. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Verna Williams and one brother, Wendell Johnson.

Survivors include her children, Carolyn Thompson, Chris Thompson, both of Fort Smith; one sister, Jean Thompson; five brothers, Jimmy Johnson, Jerold Johnson, Lewis Johnson, Claude Johnson, Thomas Johnson and two grandchildren, Isiah Thompson and Jaclynn Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Dorsey reading Old Testament and Prayer. Rev. Charles Kellybrew reading New Testament and Rev. Kenneth Kellybrew  reading the Eulogy. Visitation will be held Friday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shaft White, Brian Ivey, Chris Housenick, Bret Tucker, David Reed and Brian Blevins.
