Linda Kay (Solley) Metcalf

May 30, 1941 – August 23, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Linda Kay (Solley) Metcalf.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

She held a special place in the heart of everyone she met. A woman of quiet grace, unwavering strength, and deep faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Annie Bee Outlaw Solley and Stiles Rowe Solley; her husband, Dewey Lee “Coleman” Metcalf; her sons, Dewey Metcalf, Jeffery Metcalf; her daughter, Rebecca Ann (Becky) Beaty; seven sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her sons, James and Michael Metcalf; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and close family and friends.

Though she is gone from our sight, her love remains in our hearts forever. Her memory will be a blessing to us all. Rest in peace, Granny. We love you as the Earth loves the sun. You will be missed!

Graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, August 28, 2026 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Briggsville with Bro. Jonathan Metcalf officiating.

Pallbearers will be Michael Lee Metcalf, William Metcalf, Matthew Metcalf, Landon Drewry, Nick Metcalf and Blake Noakes.
