Linda Faye Woods, 66, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at her home. Linda was born on April 30, 1960, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Clem Tucker Jr. and Maggie Lee Tucker Parks. She dedicated more than 40 years of her life to education, serving as a teacher and touching the lives of countless students. A faithful member of Unity Baptist Church in Dardanelle and Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Magnolia, Linda was active in the Sister’s in Touch Book Club, Alpha Angels Society, the Women’s Mission, Teacher Association and once a Cheerleading Coach, Basketball Coach, Girl Scout Leader, Youth and Choir Leader. She was a loving Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, Friend, and Sister in Faith. She cherished spending time with her family and friends and found great joy in the relationships she built throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Clem Tucker Jr.; her son, James DeQuangGuyne Woods Sr.; her brothers, Earl Tucker Sr. and Dashon Tucker; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and her brother-in-law, Al Triggs.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Waymon E. Woods Sr.; her mother, Maggie Tucker Parks; her children, Chasity Woods and Waymon Woods Jr.; her sisters, Yvonne Chaten (Bobby), Beverly Watson (ST), Ronda Chaten, Lenora Triggs, Antonia Thompson (Cory), and Amanda Tucker; her brothers, Clem Tucker III (Diana), Tim Tucker (Tina), and Cameron Tucker; seven grandchildren, James Woods Jr., Chyna Neal, Jaylon McDaniels, Arianna Thompson, Zariyah Woods, Waymon Woods III, Malaysia Woods and two great-grandchildren, Rayden Woods and Luciana Cook, and many other beloved relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with Pastor Lee A. Dorsey Sr. officiating.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

Honorary pallbearers with be her brothers and grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nebo Cemetery Fund.
