Lionel Armendariz age 72 of Gravelly passed away Saturday, April 19, 2024 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway.

He was born November 25, 1951 in Cameron County, Texas to the late Angel Armendariz and Valeria Hernandez.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his adopted parents, Bill & Yvonne Workman of Gravelly; he had many friends in the valley; his surviving blood family, Mary Alice Moralizes of Alvin, Texas; Janie Armendariz of Waco, Texas; Maria Benitez of Waco, Texas; Nick Armendariz of Yukon, Oklahoma; Lino Armendariz of Beaumont, Texas; several nieces and nephews.

There will be a benefit dinner at the Gravelly Masonic Lodge Hall at 2:00 pm on May 25, 2024.

A memorial service will be 3:00 pm Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the Mt. Vernon Church in Gravelly.
