Obituary

Lisa Crawford, age 47, of Rover passed into the arms of Jesus at her home, surrounded by her family on Monday, March 18 after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born on November 21, 1976 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Sonny and Frances Lofland.

Lisa graduated from Plainview-Rover High School and went on to graduate from Arkansas Tech University with a degree in accounting. She earned her MBA from UCA and went to work for Hanesbrands where she has worked in finance for the last 23 1/2 years.

Lisa will be remembered for her outgoing personality. She never met a stranger. She had a big smile and an even bigger heart. She believed in giving back to her community. She always helped with Halloween and Santa at the fire department and the last two years she has helped cook and deliver Christmas dinners to members of the community. She was an active supporter and former officer of the Junior National Fox Hunters Association. She loved Danville baseball and served on the board of the Danville Baseball Boosters. She was a member of the Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church.

For the last 23 years, Lisa has been the beloved wife of Rickey Crawford. She was the loving mother of a daughter Hope (Donnie) Fowler, 2 sons, Ryan (Keelie) Crawford and Reid Crawford. She is also survived by her parents Sonny and Frances Lofland, her brother Bud Lofland, 3 granddaughters Airastyn, Ayden, and Scout, her father-In-law Ronny (Lize) Crawford, her brother-in-law Randy Crawford, a nephew Robbie Crawford, and her uncle Billy Marshall. She is also survived by her fur babies Rocky, Charley, Fred and Boo.

A ceremony to celebrate Lisa's life will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 20, at Nooner Cemetery located on Highway 314 with Bro. Mike Ellis officiating.

Pallbearers will be Bud Lofland, Ryan Crawford, Reid Crawford, Randy Crawford, Robbie Crawford, Donnie Fowler, Wade Bass, Joey Fisher, and Terry Dean Woodard.
