Obituary

Lisa Carson Presnall, age 47, of Benton, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24, 2017 after a brave struggle with cancer.  She is the daughter of Stephen E. and Susan (Nutt) Carson of Benton.

Lisa loved the Lord and her family with all her heart and was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught the 8th grade girls Sunday School class and accompanied the youth on numerous mission trips, choir tours and youth retreats while her girls were growing up.

Lisa was an amazing wife, mother, daughter and "Lili" and was adored by her husband and family.   She was known for her infectious personality, "can-do" attitude and her love for Christ, her family and her friends.  Even in the face of adversity, she was always positive and putting others first.

Lisa served as the Special Services Coordinator at the Arkansas Health Center.  She considered the employees and residents her second family and loved them all deeply.  She loved to plan events that would bring joy to the residents and improve their quality of life.  She also served as the AHC liaison to the Benton Chamber of Commerce and served on the Board of Directors.  Before joining the staff at AHC, Lisa was a small business owner and real estate agent in Benton.

Lisa was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James E. (Jaybird) Nutt and Robert (Bob) Carson; grandmother, Billie June Carson and in-laws Jim and Elda Presnall.

She is survived by her parents; her beloved husband, Jeff Presnall; daughters, Destiney Newton (Zach), Kaylee Dodson;  stepdaughter, Kaylen Presnall; granddaughter and light of her life, Lacee Kay;  sister, Cambre Pekron (Chad); sister-in-law Lynn Austin (Ron); grandmother, Janet (Nanny) Nutt; aunts and uncles, Vicki Crawford (Jim) of Bentonville, Stanley Carson (Debbie), Kristin Johnston (Joe), Mary Grace Kinder (James),  all of Benton, and Daniel Carson (JoAnn) of Midland, Texas; six nieces and nephews; numerous cousins and her fur-baby Maci.

A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2017 at First Baptist Church Benton with Dr. Rick Grant officiating.  Visitation and time of remembrance will follow in Selph Hall.
