Lloyd (Buck) Bowman Jr., age 78 of Birta, Passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at his home in Birta, Arkansas. He was born August 26, 1943 in Birta, Arkansas to the late Lloyd and Uleen Bowman. Buck worked at Deltic Farm and Timber for 27 years before he retired. He also ran heavy equipment his entire life. He was loved and will be forever missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patsy Brewer.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Bowman; three daughters, Tammy West, Teresa Ford (Mastin), Terri Wells (Bobby); one son, Jim Bowman (Melissa); stepsons, James Phaup, Raymond Phaup; three sisters, Evagean Rainey, Evelyn Bowden (James), Rhonda Gilkey; grandchildren, Whitney Minnie (Shane), Natasha Minnie, Stevi West (Brandon), Amanda Eakin (Justin), Tyler West (Megan), Hannah Bowman (Elija), Abbee Diehl, Jackson Smith, Briar Bowman, Blaine Bowman, Waylon Phaup, Jessie Phaup Jayden Phaup; 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday, September 13, 2021 at Birta Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Wells and Bro. Bruce Swanson officiating.

Visitation will be held Monday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the cemetery prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be William Smith, Carmen Wise, Larry Rose, Robert Fowler, Brent Rainey and Justin Dunman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kirby Rainey, Brad Clay and Matt LaRoe.
