Lora Ann Simmons age 76 of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Conway Regional Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1949 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Rev. Charles P. Rood and Lora Ethel Harshfield Rood. She was a member of the Bells Chapel Assembly of God Church and a part of Sew Much Love Ministries of Happy Valley Assembly of God Church. She loved to play the piano and singing also. Lora was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Monte Rood.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, J.M. Simmons; two children, Laura Simmons, Joseph Simmons; one grandson, Aron-Cole Simmons (Maria); two great grandchildren McKenzie Simmons, Mateo Simmons and special friends, Dorothy and James Millikan, Sarah Harris, Derreck Duvall, Lisa Homan and Karen Ray.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00P.M., Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Bells Chapel Assembly of God Church.
