Lorece Lane

It is with profound sadness that the family of Lorece Lane announces her passing. Lorece passed away peacefully at her home in Delaware, Arkansas, on February 25, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on March 5, 1947, in Eufaula, Oklahoma. In 1975, she moved to Arkansas, where she built her life and made it her forever home.

Lorece was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend-known for her unwavering strength, kindness, and boundless love for her family. She was the beloved mother of James Scott of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Autumn Duncan of Delaware, Arkansas; Lisa Mangham of Winter Garden, Florida; and Ronnie Daniel Farmer of West Fork, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Douglas Scott; her mother, Gussie Pearl Johnson; sisters, Loretta Robertson and Levon Case; brother, Melvin Farmer; and niece, Marcie Hedrick.

Lorece's legacy lives on through her children, Autumn, Lisa, and Ronnie; daughter-in-law, Annesa Farmer; grandchildren- Blake, Briana, Haley, Kyla, Logan, Jimmy, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Chloe', and Sophia, and eleven great- grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members whose lives she touched deeply.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and memories of the remarkable woman who meant so much to so many.

Though she is no longer with us, Lorece's love, wisdom, and guiding presence will live on forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
