Lorene Francis Thackston, age 83 of Dardanelle, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born November 20, 1938 in Altheimer, Arkansas to the late Norman and Thelma Chappell. Lorene attended the Crow Mountain Baptist Church, loved gardening, decorating, bird watching, talking with friends and being around people. She loved to cook and was known for her pies, mostly her pecan, chocolate and coconut. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 50 years, Richard Thackston.

Survivors include her son, Mark Thackston (Dixie); daughter, Lisa Millner (Steve); grandchildren, Malorie and Sidney Millner, Cory Thackston, Joshua Cason; great grandchildren, Dahlia, Declan, Azalea and lots and lots of friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00P.M., Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the Crow Mountain Baptist Church.
