Loretta May Boyce age 88 of Ola passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. She was born December 21, 1932 in Roxana, Oklahoma to the late Thomas Floyd Shaw and Lucy Alice Ellington Shaw. She attended the First Baptist Church in Ola, she loved the Lord and taught Sunday School. Loretta loved her grandkids, sports, horses, swimming, she was a proud patriot and was a nanny to the whole town. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Frank Boyce; one daughter, Linda Lou Sorrells; four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include two children, Danny Boyce (Joy) of Ranger, Tammy Skelton of Ola; two sisters, Bonnie Underhill (Tom) of Russellville, Connie Sims (Verlon) of Dardanelle; one brother, Mike Shaw (Pam) of Clarksville; seven grandchildren, Darren Boyce of Bee Branch, Lindsey Hall (Phillip) of Ola, Angela Orr of Dardanelle, Jackie Boyce of Ranger, Brent Sorrells (Savannah) of Texas, Brooke Sorrells of Pottsville, Jeff Pitts of Ola; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and her special buddy, Deakon Hall.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Ola First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery in Ola.

Pallbearers will be Joe Sorrells, Phillip Hall, Darren Boyce, Kobey Akin, Luc Parsons, Kenny Taylor and Trent Baker.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Shaw, Brent Sorrells and Verlon Sims.
