Junior Haney

Lossie Ernest Haney, Jr., age 85 of Dardanelle passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022.  He was born December 13, 1936 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to the late Lossie Ernest Sr. and Vokie Lievsay Haney.  Junior was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic for Mobley Construction Company for over 30 years and he also loved to work on small engines.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lottie Yvonne Haney; one daughter, Virginia Twilla; two sisters, Sue Murphy and Bunny Kirkpatrick; one brother, Ed Haney and one stepson, David Cline.

Survivors include four children, Rhonda Pitts (Cary), Lavoyd Haney (Alicia), Josh Montgomery and Johnny Cline; three stepchildren, Cindy Bocksnick, Barbara Woodard (Paul Lyles) and Jeff Wise (Heather); four sisters, Freda Morris, Ruth Lane, Viola Beene and Ann Eidson; two brothers, Ernie Haney and Glen Haney; eighteen grandchildren, thirty four great grandchild, one great-great grandchild and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the First Assembly of God Church in Dardanelle with Bro. Johnny McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Haney Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Lavoyd Haney, Dustin Haney, Chris Haney, Josh Haney, Josh Montgomery and Braeden Wise.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cary Pitts and Tim Huffman.
