Obituary

Lottie Mae Ellis, 98 of Havana, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville. She was born November 26, 1919 in Havana, Arkansas to the late Amos and Rosie Cherry Jones. Lottie was a farmer and a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William S. Ellis; son, Arvad C. Ellis; sisters Loni Fleming, Jewel Zimmerman, and Dimple Capps; and uncle, Tilman Jones.

Survivors include her son Jim (Carolyn) Ellis; daughter, Rita (John) Feet; Carolyn Ellis-Sinkler (Willian); several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

The family wants to give a special thanks to all the staff at Mitchell's Nursing Home for the wonderful care they gave Mrs. Ellis.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 7, 2018, 10:00 a.m., Moores Chapel with burial at Moores Chapel Cemetery, Waveland. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 at the funeral home at Danville.

Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
