Louie Lamar Talley, age 91, of Dardanelle passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. He was born September 11, 1928, at Chickalah, Arkansas, to the late George Henry Harkey and Lolie Mae Morgan Talley. He was a member of the River Park Church of Christ, and a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Christopher Lynn Talley, Curtis Lamar Talley; five brothers, Walter, Lonnie, Junior, Lester, Ray Talley; two sisters, Lucy Mae Watkins and Ethel Lee Yates; and his son, Jeff Piatt.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Anna Moudy Talley; three children, David Talley (Robin), Ricky Talley (Christie), Melinda Jean Piatt Talley; one sister, Lillie Mae Talley; six grandchildren, Travis Talley (Donya), Colton Talley, Bucky Talley (Nicki), Brittney Bunting (Dusty), Courtney Caldwell, Marisa Woodward (Neil); fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and his dog, Sandy.

Louie retired from the Gas Service Company, in Kansas, MO. And A-1 & Riggs Rental in Russellville. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and anyone's babies. He enjoyed being in the woods, reading and watching westerns, and taking care of his cattle.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Jerry Don Woods officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the chapel. Burial will be at Brearley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Talley, Travis Talley, Colton Talley, Ricky Talley, Bucky Talley, Jacob Talley and Dusty Bunting.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Dr. Kirkland.
