Louise Alice Combs King, age 71 of Pottsville, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 at Stella Manor Nursing Center in Russellville. She was born August 8, 1951 in El Monte, California to the late Wilbert Wesley Combs and Marie Genevieve Klein Combs. She was a very nurturing person who loved to sew, bake and was proud of her family. She was on the first committee that helped develop the city park for baseball and softball fields in Pottsville. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, and Hilda Combs; sister, Ruth A. (Combs) Branch; brothers, Wesley V. Combs, Alan Bewley, Robert Bewley, Steven Bewley; sister-in-law, Katherine Woody; brothers-in-law, Leon King, Johnny King, Raymond King, and Billy King.

Louise spent 52 wonderful years with the love of her life, Jerry.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Broyles (Randy) of Atkins, Mandy Johnson (Shawn) of Pottsville, Jennifer Tate (Scott) of Pottsville, Rebecca Reynolds (Jason) of Atkins; sisters, Eileen Coker of Kansas, Mary Hamilton (Truman) of Arkansas; grandchildren, Logan (Emily), Tanner, and Addyson Broyles, Olivia and Gracie Johnson, Tyler (Kalli), Jeremiah Tate (Gracie) and Kyle and Julia Reynolds; sisters-in-law, Claudia Combs of South Dakota, Ann Rudder (Jim) of Arkansas; brother-in-law, Terry King and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Pottsville with Bro. Jim Huffman officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the church.

Pallbearers will be all of her loving grandchildren, her pride and joy.

Honorary Pallbearers will be The Staff at Stella Manor Nursing Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pottsville Community Foundation Scholarship, 976 Pine Ridge Road, Pottsville, Arkansas 72858 in memory of Louise King.
