Louise Roberts Mary Louise Roberts age 96 of Gum Springs Community died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at her home. She was born January 28, 1916 at Yell County, Arkansas to the late William Henry and Maude Mae Campbell Piercy. She was a member of the Gum Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a charter member of the Gum Springs EH Club. Louise loved gardening and planting flowers especially roses. Most of all she loved getting to spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Winton and Bobby Piercy; one daughter-in-law, Debi Roberts. Survivors include her husband of 76 years and her sweet heart since the fourth grade John "JD" Roberts of Gum Springs Community; one daughter, Joyce Shepherd and husband Jack of Collierville, TN; one son, Tracy Roberts of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Stacey Craig and husband Steve of Collierville, TN, Kelly Shepherd and wife Kelly of Germantown, TN and David Roberts and wife Lara of Little Rock; five great grandchildren, Savannah Craig of Collierville, TN, Anna, Alli and Sarah Shepherd of Germantown, TN and Ian Roberts of Little Rock and several special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Gum Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. Pallbearers will be Curt Partin, Ken Roberts, Gus Geurian, Bill Roberts, Chase Melder and Chuck Craig. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenneth Clements, Jim Woodson and Leroy Parker, Roy Dennis and Harold Partin.
