Loy Pops Weems Jr. age 81 of Ola passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Crawford County Health & Rehab in Van Buren.

He was born February 3, 1936 in Bluffton, Arkansas to Loy Gregory Sr. & Virgie Lorice Vaughn Weems. He was a line worker at Wayne Farms.

He was preceded in death by his parents, mother of his sons, Shirley; brother, Homer Bo Weems and sister, Mary Long.

Survivors include his sons, Loyd Weems of Yukon, OK; Ken & Cathy Weems of Yukon, OK;  and Doug & Kari Weems of Alma, AR; brother Bill Weems of Hollis; sisters, Patsy Robinson of Rover; Charlene Solley of Bluffton; Betty Lou Weems of Danville; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10 am Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Bluffton Methodist Church. Visitation will be 9 to 10 am before service at the church. Burial will be at Bluffton Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Matt Weems, Jacob Weems, Bobby Long, Derek Weems, Aric Weems and Billy Dale Weems.
