Loyd "Buddy" Maughn Jr. age 56 of Danville passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at UAMS in Little Rock.

Buddy was born July 3, 1962 in Danville, Arkansas to Loyd & Hellen Robinson Maughn. He was a member of the Danville First Baptist Church, he owned and operated Buddy's Service Station and Wrecker Service and worked in construction. He loved hunting and car racing in his younger days.

He was preceded in death by his wife Beth Maughn; father, Loyd Maughn Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Hellen Maughn; sister & brother-in-law, Christy & Tommy Papasan; brother, Mark Maughn all of Danville; step-son & daughter-in-law, David & Nicki Cupp; grandchildren, Carly Beth, D.J. and Harper Jean, Cupp all of Springfield, MO; nephews, Brett, Matt, and Drew Papasan and Anthony Maughn; nieces, Emily Dixon-York, Erin Dixon, Keri Dixon-Henry; great-nieces and nephews, Jayce York, Colt Papasan, Davis and Elise Papasan; uncle, Harold & Patsy Robinson; cousin, Scott & Rachel Robinson; sisters-in-law, Debbie Moudy and Kay Dixon;

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2019 at Earl Ladd Cemetery with Bro. Clayton Sheets officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
