Luster Lee Staten age 93 of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born August 14, 1926 at Ranger, Arkansas to the late William Lorenzo "Toad" Staton and Eller Loretta Woodall Staton. He lived in the Kansas City, MO area for 40 years, he retired from Bendix Corporation after 38 years, he served in the Army during WWII, he attended the New Blaine Church of Christ and he loved gardening and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Vivian Jones and one son, Roger Staten.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Staten of New Blaine; daughters, Rosetta Downard of Dardanelle, Joy Alderson (Gary) of Miltona, MN; stepdaughters, Charlotte Parker (Don), Sheila Bentley (Joe); grandchildren, Ken Edison (Nikki), Brooke Nebel (Josh), Desiree Walden-Chastain (Robert), Scott Parker, Marla Blaschke (Randy), Kelly Parker (Crystal), Joey Bentley, Hanna Bentley; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Darien Downs officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will be private in New Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ken Edison, Don Parker, Joe Bentley, Randy Blaschke, Bill Jack Parker, Richard Robison and Richard Davis.
