Machala Allis Defoor-Shipp, age 34 of Louisville, formerly of Danville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. She was born June 8, 1990 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Machala grew up in Danville and Pottsville where she loved playing basketball and softball and hanging out with her friends and family. She was high spirited and had a very loving personality. Machala graduated with Honors from Pottsville High School in 2008 and continued her studies at Arkansas Tech University. She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Troy Defoor, Ronnie James, J.C. Barnett, Donald Gililland and her sister, Jamie Defoor.

Survivors include her husband, Justin Shipp, Sr.; her children, Justin Shipp, Jr., Jayme Shipp; parents, Mark and Keri Defoor, Kim Nesbit; sister, Sarah Defoor; grandmothers, Shirley Defoor, Sharon Gililland, Gloria Barnett; her in-laws that have been a God Send for our family, Wayne and Effie Shipp and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, July 12, 2024 at Earl Ladd Cemetery in Danville.
