Mae Dorothy Thompson age 75 of Dardanelle died Monday, June 11, 2018 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born March 9, 1943 at Dardanelle to the late Felix and Anna Thompson. She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Dardanelle and she loved traveling, fishing and her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Steve, Vearl and Ray Thompson; three sisters, Ella Mae Moore, Margie Burton, and Mae Anna Thompson.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Leonard Thompson of Dardanelle; her daughter, Kathy Brown-Nichols (Kellye) of Hot Springs and a son, Rodney Thompson (Carrie) of Russellville; three sisters, Pearl Moore and husband Jewel of Dardanelle, Jane Ellen Johnson of Dardanelle, Doris Black and husband Harold of Blackwell and one granddaughter, Meagan Thompson of Greenwood, plus several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Marvin Thompson and Rev. Kenneth Kellybrew officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the chapel prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be James O. Woods, O. J. Woods, Lewis Johnson, Richard Taylor, Jamie Young and Robert Woods.
