Maelene Lunsford age 79 of Ola passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Mitchells Nursing Home.

She was born May 10, 1938 in Casa, Arkansas to the late Theodore Harold & Helen Willene Blaylock Poteete. She was retired from Warehouser Lumber. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roger Wise; infant daughter, Cynthia Gail Wise; father of her children, Luther Wise; great grand dog, Bella George The Mouse.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Lee Lunsford; daughter & son-in-law, Gloria & Pat Dixon of Morrilton; brother, Ted & Lee Poteete of Mt. Pine; grandchildren, Tim & Amanda George of Conway; Crystal & John David Mullins of Plainview; Misty & Wayne Henry of Dardanelle; Laura & Brian Cochran of Plumerville; great-grandchildren, Chase & Payton Mullins; Dalton & Olivia Henry.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, September 20, at the Dardanelle Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Wells and Bro. Marvin Wise officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Dardanelle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Needmore Cemetery in Casa.

Pallbearers include Harold Poteete, Phillip Poteete, David Jackson, John David Mullins, Dalton Henry, Wayne Henry, and Payton Mullins.

Honorary pallbearer include Tim George.
