Mamie Lee Scarborough Fowler-Corder, age 86, of Belleville, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 6 am at Dardanelle Nursing Center.

Mamie was born June 9, 1938 in Catahoula, LA. to the late Basil & Ollie Paul Scarborough.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Johnny Junior Fowler; daughter, Nina McKnight; sons, Billy Joe Fowler, and Junior Ray Fowler; brothers, AC Scarborough, Randolph Scarborough, David Scarborough, Bruce Scarborough, JC Scarborough, and Huey Scarborough; and sisters, Anna Laura Fowler, Lucille Tolbert. Evelyn Ballew, and Alton Marie Allen.

She is survived by her husband, Glen Corder of Belleville; sons, Johnny Ray Fowler (wife Judy) and Robert Lee Fowler (wife Sherry); daughters Tammy Butler (husband John), Judy Lambert (husband Larry), and Susan Emery; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The memories we have made, the love we have shared, and the lives we have lived together have changed the very fabric of who we are and what we will pass along to our children. The life Mamie lived as a wife, mother, and grandmother built a family of strong, loving people. The legacy of this simple country woman will live on in our hearts forever Long after we are gone, the memory of her and the memory of us will always endure.

Visitation will be held at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 10:00 am. with Bro. Shane Chancellor. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Randy Fowler, Marty Lambert, Johnny Nunley, William Fowler, Lance Fowler, and David Ray Nichols.

Honorary pallbearers include Justin Fowler, Josh Nichols, Jackey Broadstock, Tommy Broadstock, Luke Pierce, Landon Pierce, Logan Pierce, Andrew Fowler, and John Fowler.
