Marcella "Sissy" Nichols Marcella Willadean "Sissy" Nichols, 79 of Ola, passed away December 7, 2012, at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. She was born May 28, 1933, at Rose Creek, Perry County, Arkansas to the late Joseph Franklin and Opal Emily Gunter Brimm. She was a cook for the Yell County Nursing Home for 15 years. She was a volunteer senior companion for the last ten years, winning many awards for her service and compassion. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Gerald Nichols; son, Dickie Lee Nichols; brothers, Eldon, Chub, and Venus Brimm. She is survived by her children, Kevin and Susan Stone of Ola, Rick and Linda Nichols of Dale, OK, Eddy and Sydni Nichols of Oklahoma City, OK, Rusty and Vicki Sisk of Charleston, AR ; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sue Rogers of Dardanelle, Dean Johnson of Casa, and Janet Garner of Ola; and a host of family of friends. Graveside funeral service will be Monday, December 10, 2012, 10:00 a.m., at Bryant's Cove Cemetery, Casa with Brother John McCourt officiating.
