Margaret Louise Miller Edwards, age 88, of the Ard Community went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 25, 2024 at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. She was born March 29, 1936 at Sulpher Springs, AR to the late JD and Lorene Miller. She and her husband Lewis "Lum" Edwards ran three of their own businesses, Lum's Window and Equipment Company, Lum's Peaceful Rest, and Lum's Custom Hay Baling. Margaret knitted and crocheted many clothes, tablecloths, afghans, and doilies over the years. She was well known for her Sunday rolls and homemade bread, and she delivered them to many houses up and down Ard Road. She was constantly looking out for others and helping them when they were in need.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Lewis "Lum" Edwards; parents; in-laws, Lonnie Ray and Stella Edwards; son, Ray Edwards; siblings Lloyd Miller, Hazel George; brothers-in-law, Johnny Paul Thaxton, and Al George.

Survivors include her children; Debbie (Craig) Fisher, Melinda (Tim) Rollans; daughter-in-law, Dana Edwards; siblings, Kent (Shirley) Miller, Leora Thaxton; sister-in-law, Martha Miller; grandchildren, CJ (Lisa) Fisher, Catelyn (Lucas) Davis, Kayla (Drexel Cornish Sr) Rollans, Kyle (Taylor) Rollans; and great grandchildren, Addie, Micah, and Jon Fisher; Adriauna and Drexel "Junior" Cornish; Blakely and Brinley Rollans; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Cornwell Chapel with Zach Pettis and Bill Land officiating. Burial will be in Ard Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel.
