Margaret Ann Laws, aged 77, of Greenville, Mississippi, passed away on April 30, 2025, at her son's home in Russellville, Arkansas. Born on January 28, 1948, in Alexandria, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Daisy Belle Canada Cremeen and Orville Ray Slaymaker. Margaret was lovingly raised by her grandfather, Thomas Earl Canada. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Edward Laws, her sons Thomas "Tommy" and James "Jamie" Laws, and her sister Sharon "Jena" Hill.

Margaret dedicated many years to running an in-house day care, where she touched the lives of many children. She found joy in sewing, visiting the casino, and doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Casey Laws, and his wife Lisa; her sisters, Angela Thames Bussey and Nancy Damiens with her husband Dennis; her brothers, Stanley Thames with his wife Tammie, Jeff Cremeen with his wife Donna, and Todd Cremeen with his wife Kaye. Margaret was a proud grandmother to Jaci, Jada, Sidney, Max, Reese, Taylor, and Crosby, and a great-grandmother to Callen and Kimbree.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle, Arkansas. Margaret will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
