Margie Swaim age 97of Blulffton passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab. She was born August 23, 1916 in Piney, Arkansas to the late Thomas Aaron & Sidney Priscilla Sassaman Francis. She was a school teacher, beautician, and homemaker. She was a member of the Gravelly Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Ernie "Ned" Swaim; 2 infant daughters and 2 infant sons; brothers Cobb & Johnny Francis; sisters Rita Faye Francis and Vera Childers. Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-law Wanda & Rick Sherrill of Bluffton and Priscilla &Frank Kitchens of Springdale; sister-in-law Pauline cook of Tulsa, OK; 4 granddaughters, Kelli (Greg) Henderson of Bulverde, TX; Nikole (Dan) Krughoff of Downers Grove, IL; grandsons Shannon (Rebecca) McIntyre of Birta; Casey (Marinda) McIntyre of Dardanelle; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday, September 27 at the Gravelly United Methodist Church with Rev. Jay Hunnicutt officiating. Burial will be at Parks Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday Sept 26, at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Joe Pickens, Sonny Lofland, Jim Roberson, Casey McIntyre, Shannon McIntyre, and Rod Rupe, Honorary pallbearers include Dardanelle Nursing & Rehab, Arkansas Hospice, Dr. Westwood, Doug Via; Rick Nichols, Joe Dishough and O.L.Briggs.
