Marguerite Mary LaRoe age 83 of Ola passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

Marguerite was born December 14, 1939 in St. Louis, MO. to the late George & Ruth Vollerton Hemmer. She was a member of the  Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Birta.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert LaRoe; brothers, George Hemmer and Tom Hemmer.

Survivors include her children, Donald & Laura Otto of Danville; Debra & Jeffry Munroe of Birta; Robert & John Otto of St. Louis, MO.; Ronald & Robert Otto of St. Louis, MO.; Richard & Danielle Otto of Clarksville; James "Matt" LaRoe of Birta; brothers, Richard "Dutch" & Barbara Hemmer of Hillsboro, MO.; Jim & Jean Hemmer of Fenton, MO.; 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Birta with Bro. Ricky Kimzey officiating.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, August 21, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Birta Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Dwight Otto, Kyle LaRoe, Robert Otto, Greg Munroe, Charles Smith Jr., Ronnie White and Colby Munroe.
