Maria Lidia McConnell age 72 of Danville went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus, Sunday June 18, 2023.

She was born August 3rd 1950 in H. Matamoros, Tamps, Mexico to the late Jose and Esperanza Herrera.

She was a member of the Grace Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Danville. Maria worked as an accountant and a Parafinados for 15 years in Mexico. She moved to Danville in 2000 and worked at Wayne Farms. She and Clarke were married on August 14, 2001 at Grace Chapel Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed painting and singing. She was a GREAT prayer warrior! She was dearly loved by all her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law, Magdaleno Moreno and Andres Aguilar.

Survivors include her husband, Clarke McConnell of Danville; sisters, Juaquina Moreno of Brownsville, TX.; Zoila G Aguilar of Brownsville, TX.; Ines Herrera of Mission, TX.; Laura H. Rivera (Juan Jose) of Greenville, SC. sisters-in-law, Reba Seward of Lawrence, KS.; Kathy (Cotton) Ellison od Oden, AR.; Joanne McConnell of Prairie Grove, AR.; brother-in-law, Bruce (Judy) McConnell of White Hall, AR.;  and a host of  great many family members, nieces and nephews in the US and Mexico.

Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Friday, June 23, 2023 at Grace Chapel Church of The Nazarene in Danville.
