Mark John Silvertooth age 91, of Dardanelle died Friday, April 6 2012 at Atkins. He was born January 30, 1921 in Ft. Worth, Texas to the late Mark John Sr. and Myrtle May Mitchell Silvertooth. He was a retired building and grounds supervisor for the Centinela Valley Union High School District in California and was a CCC Camp worker. He was a member of the Sun City, California United Methodist Church and a WW II Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Ruby LaVerne Silvertooth and son, David Silvertooth. Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Hicks Silvertooth, son, Mark (Donna) Silvertooth of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Alex and Heather Silvertooth both of Indianapolis, Indiana; Jon (Brenda) Silvertooth of Long Beach, California; great-granddaughter, Helen Silvertooth, step-daughter, Johnnie Sue (Terry) Christy, step-grandchildren, Brent and Tyler Christy, step-great-granddaughter, Kaylie Christy all of Dardanelle. Services will be Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 10:00AM at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Brother Denver Robinson officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
