Mark Smith age 54 of Dardanelle died Thursday, April 18, 2013. He was born May 27, 1958 at Osceola, AR to Loyd Smith and Geneva Roberts. He was a member of the Slaty Crossing Freewill Baptist Church, he loved cars, farming, going fishing and most of all his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Smith; one brother, Bill Smith; one sister, Mary Backer; one nephew, Chris Smith. Survivors include his mother, Geneva Smith of Dardanelle; one son, David Smith and wife Brittany of Dardanelle; two sisters, Linda Brewer and husband Marlin of Bentonville, Teresa Reese and husband Ross of Benton; five brothers, Sam Hicks and Kumie of Greenwood, Rick Sivage and wife Robin of Fayetteville, Gary Smith of Dardanelle, Dan Smith of Dardanelle, Clark Smith and wife Sonya of Plainview; one grandchild, Aiden Bryan Allen Smith of Dardanelle and many nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Family will hold a Memorial Service at 12:00P.M., at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 with Rev. Charles Lewis officiating.
