Martha Lee Tatum age 83 of Danville passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born October 13, 1928 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Nases E. & Yasmine J. Saliba Saleeby. She was a member of the Danville United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Church Choir, the Ladies Bridge Club; and a avid fan of all Danville Little John Sports. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Eli N. Saleeby and Nick N. Saleeby; sisters Josephine Sommer, Mary Thompson and Dorothy Saik; brother-in-law, Bill Tatum and sister & brother-in-law Catherine & Dick Maples.
Survivors include husband of 57 years B.L. Tatum; son & daughter-in-law Todd & Melissa Tatum of Danville; grandsons Dalton Lee & Peyton Buford Tatum of Danville; sister, Emma T. Saleeby of Washington, North Carolina; brother & sisters-in-law Tommy & Janette Tatum of Danville; Georgiana Tatum of Dardanelle ; and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Danville United Methodist Church with Bro. John McCourt and Rev Tom Sullinger officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, at funeral home.
Pallbearers include Brian Keys, Adam Taylor, J.C. Frost, Tom Tatum II, Dr, Philip Tippin, Wilmer Beachy, Paul Saik and Richard Bradford.
Honorary pallbearers include EMS & Fire Department and Danville Little Johns coaches and players.
