On December 20, 2021, Mary Ann Butler Pelts Age 85 of Lamar, AR went to rest in the Lord. She was born April 18, 1936 in Walkermine, CA to the late John and Irene Butler. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Mary devoted her life to her family. She was the most selfless person, putting everyone else's needs before her own. One of the ways she showed her love was through her delicious cooking, and her family all loved to be her taste-testers. No one ever left her house with an empty stomach. She loved to hear every detail of her childrens lives and was quick to give her sage advice. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence Pelts, her son Randy Pelts, her son-in-law Richard Delgado and great grandson Cole Pelts.

She is survived by her two daughters Cheryl (Vernon) Heath of Scranton, AR and Shela Delgado of Clarksville, AR. Four sons John Pelts of Lamar, AR, Rickey Pelts of Dardanelle, AR, Mark Pelts and Chad (Sarah Broyles) Pelts of Lamar, AR. One sister Betty Pelts and one niece Susan (Larry) Sanders of Fort Smith, AR. Eleven grandchildren John (Monica) Bowles, Jeremy (Dody) Pelts, Jason (Mona) Pelts, Joe (Nicole) Pelts, Chris Pelts, Kayla (Sam) Pace, Josh (Ronda) Flint, Jacob (Lindsey) Flint, Olivia Flint, LaKeshia Pelts and LakeLyn (Matt) Keylon. Thirty great grandchildren including Ashlyn Morters, Riley and Addley Bowles; Toryn, Kaiden, Hailey, Siren, and Matthew Pelts; Logan, Tristen, Elsie and Zoey Pace; Morgan and Jordan Flint, Brielle Bennett, Kason, Emmalynn, Finley, Kaden and Zaxten Flint; Raeden and Peyten Hollingsworth; Kamarii Pelts, Azlyn and Adaline Keylon.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 1:30 at Minnow Creek Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas with Pastor Ken Blundell officiating.

Pallbearers will be Barry, Trae, Rob and Hunter Pelts, Josh and Jacob Flint.
