Mary Lois Johnson Hux formerly of Delaware, Ar. passed away April 4, 2014 at Crown Point Rehabilitation Center in Lubbock, Texas surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by 2 daughters, Brenda Babb and Connie Holland and husband Mark; 3 grand children Anesia Vanderlaan, Jonathan Hux and Sarah Holland; 2 great grand children Erin Vanderlaan and Adyan Hux; nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Mary was proceeded in death by parents Ambrose and Luella Johnson Sr; husband Jess Hux Sr; son Jess Hux Jr; 3 brothers Tony Johnson, Ambrose Johnson Jr and Jimmy Johnson. Also 5 sisters Lila Barnett, Edith Keith, Melba Goocher, Joline Jackson, Eva Mae Stone and Mammie Johnson. Mary was born March 14, 1934 in Delaware, Ar. She loved being with family and friends, and watching her beloved Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Delaware. She was also a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW post 6796 in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 8, 2014 at 10 am at the First Assembly of God Church in Delaware with Bro. Mark Holland and Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow at Graves Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle Monday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
