Mary Esther Ivey age 96 of Kingston passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

Mary was born December 30, 1922 in Kingston, Arkansas to the late James Roy & Josephine "Josie" Anderson Sandlin. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Plainview VFW Auxiliary 8525, and the Ola Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She was a mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ivey; parents; and grandson, Neill Penny.

Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Edward & Marie Ivey of Lansing, MI.; granddaughters, Jennifer Ivey & Jeff Fleischauer of Berkley, MI; and Elizabeth & Chris Penney of Canton, MI; great-grandchildren, Luthor and Lillith Fleischauer; Ian and Liam and Keira Penney.

Funeral service will be 2:30 pm Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Danville United Methodist Church with Bro. Tom Sullinger officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:30 pm at the church. Private burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery.
