Mary Jane Jones, age 82, crossed the Jordan River into the Promised lan Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was born November 14, 1939, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to the late William McConkey and Mary May Sherby McConkey. In Addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother
William (Bill) McConkey, son in law, Joel Jones, and Great grandchildren, Carson Duncan, and Natalie Womack. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, O.D Jones of Danville, AR, a sister, Judy Laxton of Dallas Tx, Children Debi Jones of Popular Bluff MO, David (Ann) Ellis of Hot Springs Village, Judi (Kelley) Duncan of
Arkadelphia AR, David (Josie) Jones of Yuma, AZ, Ladonna (Jeff) Slater of Jacksonville, AR. Grandchildren, Joe (Freida) Jones, Sabrina (Tony)Womack, Kelley Duncan Jr., David Michael (Tory)Jones, Cory Jones, Drew(Kayla) Hardin, Jennifar(Chris)Buckman, Anna Jones, Dylon Webb. 20 Great Grandchildren, and 3
Great-Great Grandchildren.
Mary loved the Lord and served Him faithfully in all she ever done. Mary loved to minister to individuals and share Jesus with everyone she could. She truly had a servant's heart and was loved by all who ever met her. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and was the happiest having them all together.
She done many things in her life and excelled at them all. She won many awards in sales. She was a bookkeeper for Victory Fellowship Christian Schools in Little Rock for many years and then retired from bookkeeping at Baptist Health School of Nursing.
Mary was a beloved wife, loving mother, sweetest Memaw, and true friend will be missed by all who knew
her.
Celebration of Mary's life will be held on Saturday, January 22 at 12:00p.m. at Family Church in White
Hall, AR.
