Mary Margaret McDonough age 59 of Atkins, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Little Rock.  She was born September 2, 1961, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Walter and Marilyn Louise Duman McDonough.  She was a medical coder and attended the St. Joe Freewill Baptist Church in Atkins.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  She loved her cats, singing, and playing music.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Dale McDonough, and one infant sister.

Survivors include her two children, Kristen Gipson (Will) of Atkins, Arkansas, and Jesse Freshwater (Diana) of Tucson, Arizona, three brothers, Richard McDonough (Mary) of Singapore, Duane McDonough (Kathy) of Rochester Hills, Michigan, and Doug McDonough (Kelly) of McMurray Pennsylvania, and her four beloved grandchildren, Ethan Gipson, Lillian Gipson, Elijah Gipson and Gabriel Gipson.

She is also survived by four nieces and nephews; Leyna Singh (Shane) and family of Athens, Georgia, Leslie LaRiviere (Dane) and family of Arvada, Colorado,  David McDonough (Emily) and family of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, and Aaron McDonough (Elizabeth) and family of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at St. Joe Freewill Baptist Church in Atkins with Bro. David Bishop officiating.
