Mary Ellen Ray age 95 of Danville passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at her home.

She was born August 21, 1920 in Dierks, Arkansas to the late Landon Richard & Rado Anderson Eden. Mary was a nurse's aide for the Yell County Hospital. She was the last surviving Charter Member of the Danville Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester Ray;daughter, Linda Havner; granddaughter, Cheryl Lynn Havner; grandson, Steven Westcott; siblings Ora, Lorene, Edna, Joyce, Elmer, Roy and S.R.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-laws, Betty & Darrell Westcott of Danville; Becky & Richard Cooper of Lake Jackson, Texas; sister, Ruby Moss of California; grandchildren, Jennifer & Nathan Teaff; David & Julie Havner; Jeff & Cindy Westcott; Connie Westcott; Cheston & Keri Cooper; Cory & Lea Cooper; and great-grandchildren, Jack & Paige Havner; Ella Teaff; Elisabeth Westcott; Matthew & Samuel Westcott; Landon & Cullen Cooper; Isabel, Gabriel, Elijah & Quinn Cooper ; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Danville Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Kenny Vosburg officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday, March 20, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Jeff Westcott, David Havner, Cheston Cooper, Cory Cooper, Richard Cooper, and Darrell Westcott.
