Mary Ann
Standridge
November 12, 1942 – June 17, 2024
Mary Anna (Judkins) Standridge, was born on November 12, 1942 in Atkins, Arkansas to the late George E. Judkins and Nola (Kinder) Judkins Gray. She passed away on June 17, 2024 in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was respectfully and lovingly known as Miss Ann because of the work she did in the nursery of Bethel Worship Center for over 40 years. She was also a member of that church. In 1961, she graduated from Atkins High School where she loved playing guard on the very successful basketball team coached by George Jones. Making homemade pies for family and friends was a special talent and a family Christmas dinner tradition.
She enjoyed her job with Tyson Foods at the Dardanelle and Tyler Road Plants where she made many kind and caring friends during her approximately 60 years as a Team Member. She led a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness. She loved her family, her pets and especially her birds. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter (Wendy Jill Hose), one grandson (Carter Greyson Shaw), three sisters (Ruby Royer, Deborah St. Reeter, and Wanda Hawkins), four brothers (Boyce Judkins Sr., Hartsell Judkins, Charles Judkins, Clifford Judkins).
She is survived by her husband Herman Standridge; two daughters Rebecca Hose Reynolds (Jeff) and Cindy Mans (Chris); three sisters Margie Bailey, Evelyn Dixon, Elloyween Luningham; two brothers Bobby Judkins (Lola) and David Judkins (Jane); five grandchildren Latasha Holt, Blake Mans (Danielle), Chelsey Mans-Potter (Brandon), Tyler Shaw (Kim), Monica Hickey (JJ); and eight great-grandchildren Chloee, Haylee and Blakelee Holt; Brayden, Brinley, Bryar, and Brooks Mans; and Jace Shaw; also, several nieces and nephews; and two step-children Mark Standridge and Patti Koch. She was blessed with countless friends who will forever cherish her memory.
