Matthew Henson age 63 of Paris passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020. He was born May 12, 1957 in Paris, Arkansas to Hursel Henson and Velma Crowell Henson. He loved poetry, hunting, gensing and camping. He was preceded in death by his father, Hursel Henson; one sister, Misty Henson Johnson and one great niece, Shae Johnson.

Survivors include his mother, Velma Mullins; two children, Abel Henson, Fawn Henson; four sisters, Michele White, Heather Dronet, Teresa Schluterman, Lura Lai Gillespy; one brother, Bobby Buck; seven grandchildren, Ghavin, Adrina, Sven, Whitney, Ian and Asher Henson, and Charm Keef; one great grandchild, Houston Keef and his stepmother, Linda Henson.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Sunday, August 30, 2020 at OakWood Cemetery Pavilion, 1700 East Walnut, Paris, Arkansas.
