Charlene McKnight Mattie Charlene "Aaron" McKnight age 75 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at River Valley Medical Center. She was born June 12, 1937 at Cardon Bottoms to the late Buck and Alene Hallum Aaron. She was a Christian and loved to go camping, fishing and going on trips to Branson. She has always taken care of the elderly and never charged them anything. She loved to garden and make ceramics. Most of all she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son and three brothers. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Dwane McKnight of Dardanelle; two sons, Jack McKnight and wife Nina of Dardanelle, Jimmy McKnight and wife Tanya of Dardanelle; one granddaughter, Crystal McKnight and fiancé James Ruiz of Russellville; three sisters, Geraldine Curlie of Hensley, Mary Alice Breashears of Tiller, Judy Kelems and husband Rodger of McGee and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00A.M., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Shane Chancellor and Rev. Dan Baker officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the chapel. Pallbearers are Kenny McKnight, Alan Dale Hodges, Billy Teeter, Johnny Nunley, Jackey Broadstock and Tommy Broadstock.
