Mavis Ann Polk Wagner, age 65 of Belleville, Arkansas passed away Friday, November 1, 2013, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was born May 29, 1948 in Charleston, Arkansas to the late L.B. and Veda (Goldsmith) Polk. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her flowers and watching the wonders of nature, especially the horses in the pasture. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Jerry Polk; brother-in-law Frank Garcia; and sister-in-law Lucille Cooper. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Paul Wagner; children and their spouses, Stephen and Connie Wagner, Johnny and Amanda Barnes all of Belleville, Mark and Donnelle Wagner of Lavaca, Angela and Manuel Matute of Sumter, South Carolina; ten grandchildren, Shelby and Seth Wagner, Kendra, Jonathon, and Hunter Barnes, Jayger, Jetson, and Joben Wagner, and Maya and Michael Matute; a sister, Mary Jane Garcia of Alma, Arkansas; many nephews, nieces and friends. Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2013, at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery, Belleville with Brother Bobby Alexander officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
