Burlene Carter

Melba Burlene Carter age 86 of Greenbrier died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Conway Regional Health System. She was born July 10, 1932 in Havana Arkansas to the late Burl and Lois Lottie Payne Oates. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Willis Dale Oates, Robert Glen "Buddy" Oates, James Huey Oates and one great grandchild, Bobbie Sue Mahan.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Mahan and husband Danny of Damascus; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Virginia Lee Pearce and husband Charles of Conway, Barbara Jean Bell of Russellville, Paula Sue Fischer of Hamburg, Patricia Ann Morrison and husband Charles of Leslie, Linda Jane Gillespie of Delaware; two grandchildren, Daniel Mahan and wife April of Damascus, Kathryn Hooten and husband Rusty of Damascus and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Havana Cemetery.
