Mildred Davis

Mildred Allene Davis age 82 of Plainview died Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at National Park Medical Center. She was born July 12, 1933 at Brush Creek, Arkansas to the late Ollie and Allie Mae Lancaster Flewellen. She was a Southern Baptist, she loved fishing, hunting and spending time with family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, an amazing seamstress, she made wedding dresses for two of her daughters, a farmer and gardener, she could grow anything she tried, she could crochet, was a wonderful caregiver, a CNA for over 40 years and was the strongest person anyone could ever know. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Tony Davis, her second husband, Sam Gossage; three brothers; two sisters; one step son, Reece Davis; two step grandson, Richard Davis, Reece Gerald Davis; one step granddaughter, Angela Culpepper.

Survivors include three children, Barbara Eskew (Dennis) of Jessieville, Martha Wyatt (Doyle) of Hot Springs, Tony Mann (Darrell) of Plainview; a step daughter, Norma Share Monroe; grandchildren, Cory Eskew, Carey Hignight, Sheena Brandsitter, Randy Wyatt, Tanda Stoelzing, Nickolas Mann, Carol Burks, Patricia Burdette, Connie Williams, Debbie Wielber and sixteen great grandchildren.

A family conducted memorial service will be held at 2:00P.M., Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the Valley Home Baptist Church in Hollis.
