Monte Gene Givens age 81 of Casa died Saturday, October 17, 2014 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was born June 16, 1933 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to the late Jack and Allie Lee Appleton Givens. He graduated from Ardmore High School, then getting his bachelor degree from McMurray College and master's degree from the University of Oklahoma. He was a Vietnam Era Veteran retiring after 24 years. He then was personal manager for Citgo in Tulsa for 13 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter, Juliet. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Lynda Sue Wright Givens, children, Jack Givens of Maumelle; Terri Givens of Morrilton, Marie Seaton of Cabot and Vickie Doyle of Savanah, Georgia, sister, Elaine Holloway of Waco, Texas, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
