Murl Don Pitts, age 79 of Ola, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born September 16, 1942 in Clarksville, Arkansas to the late Sherman Pitts and Erma Lee Yandell. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Hugh Dale Pitts; one sister, Anne Smitgen; sister-in-law, Sheila Pitts and a brother-in-law, Vester Kimbrell.

Survivors include his wife, Melba James Pitts; three children, Kenny Don Pitts, Cindy Dodorico (Kalibe), Richard James; his siblings, Bob Pitts (Kathy), Randy Pitts (Betty), Loyd Pitts (Rhonda), David Pitts, Diane Kimbrell; five grandchildren, Kalibe Pitts, Cody Pitts, Carie Lynn Pitts, Jacob Dodorico, John Dodorico and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Salem Cemetery in Ola with Robert Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.

Pallbearers will be Randy Pitts, Josh Pitts, Dale Pitts, Michael Pitts, Kenny Pitts and Richard James.
