Myrtle Faye Vaughn age 89 of Rover passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith.

She was born December 29, 1927 in Aly, Arkansas to the late Loye & Ethel Smith Spears. She was a nursing aid for Mitchell's Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer Vaughn; daughter, Shirley Vaughn; sisters, Vivian Spears, Judy Vaughn, and Ann Dunn.

Survivors include her children Bill & Annie Vaughn of Belleville; Terry & Edna Vaughn of Chickalah, Mountain; Diann Masterson of Kansas City, MO; Michael & Imogene Vaughn of Belleville; Dorothy Vaughn of Rover; David Vaughn of Bellville; Jimmy & Charlene Vaughn of Havana; sister, Ernestine Bryant of Dumas; several grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 2 pm Friday, February 10, 2017 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Briggsville.
