Nancy Lee Gillespie age 89 of Belleville passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville.

Dr. John Grace delivered Nancy March 13, 1930 in Russellville, Arkansas, to the late Frank & Phoebe Lou Hays Apple. She graduated from Belleville High School in 1948, she attended Draughon's School of Business and worked at Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Georgia. She was a member of the Dr. John Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Belleville, where she taught Vacation Bible School, and Children Sunday School Class, she gave countless free piano lessons, a member of the E.H. Club, a homemaker, mother and the best Nanny. She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center where she was on the Beanbag Baseball Team.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Gillespie, and parents.

Survivors include her sons, David Gillespie of Belleville; Frank & Kathy Gillespie of Belleville; Darryl & Ruby Gillespie of Russellville; sister, Frankie McBride of Havana; grandchildren, Samuel Roy & Meghan Gillespie; Teresa & Cullen Pfeifer; Jake & Marlie Gillespie; Samara, Sophie, and Will Gillespie; Kayla & Nick Newberry; Ryan & Katelynn Dixon, great-grandchildren, Braden, Noah, and Charlie Newberry; nieces, Gwendolyn & Kelly Boyd and Gayla & Jim Edwards; sister-in-law, Geneva Pledger and Betty Gillespie; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Havana First Baptist Church with Bro Mark Gower officiating.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 3, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Russell Cemetery in Belleville.
