Nancy Rose Rose age 77 of Russellville passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born October 27, 1943 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Clyde and Glennie Busby Murphree. From a 15 year old newlywed in the cotton fields of East Arkansas, she became a dedicated and respected Nurse at St. Mary's Hospital for over 25 years. Nurses, patients and doctors have all reached out with stories of her outstanding patient care and bedside humor. She is still an inspiration to many. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles, James, and Frank Murphree; sister, Brenda Tubb and a son-in-law, Bruce Daughtrey.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Frank Rose of Russellville; four children, James and Susie Rose of Olathe, Kansas, John and Pam Rose of Russellville, Deanna and Joey Woodard of Pottsville, Stacey Daughtrey of Dardanelle; one brother, John Murphree of Little Rock; one sister, Betty Wierman of Dardanelle; nine grandchildren, Mandy (Freddie), Christopher (Brittlei), Johnathan, Matthew, Dalton (Mary Grace), Hannah (Rudy), Tessa (Kade), Ethan (Erika), Emma and seven great grandchildren, Cayden, Nola, Brayden, Jasmine, Madison, Bentley and Kelvin.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.
